This is incredible
She came to my video class last tuesday and her art deals with some pretty deep issues but always has an undertone of humor. I love funny art.

and here is a video I just made.
Thats it for now.

  1. erin, i love the soundtrack to your video. excellent selection. overall, i'm really in to the overall visual experience. interesting scenes throughout.

the only thing that causes a pause, is when you've edited a section of time during which the scene changes - most notably the guy inside the...fish shop? is that what that was towards the end? there's a spot where things on the counter have moved, but the camera angle didn't. was that intentional? or no? i like it when you repeat the people walking in the street three times. that feels intentional. the fish shop doesn't, whether it was or not.

regardless, i hope you keep posting these! totally cool to see. also nice to see some gabby smiles in action!

oh, and i really love the concept behind the anne walsh installation! her names sounds really familiar. and her website looks alarmingly like joe winter's. is that weird?

  2. I really enjoyed the ending scene with the old man walking out of the frame it synced up so very nicely with the audio. is this part of a larger piece that you are working on?

  3. The beginning of this and the end scene are my favorite parts, the beginning is fresh and has beautiful lighting and your hair blowing in front is a nice perspective it makes you feel like youre the one inspecting things too. I found the ending scene to be really quirky and the most engaging. I hope you like video i little more now i know final cut was giving you shit :( lol.
