  1. John,
Ive been missing your work. I love this image, decisive moment to the max. the little girl looks like she is in her own little world, the way the light is hitting her is absolutely beautiful. I need to see more. How many frames did you shoot to get this shot? That seems to be the most frequently asked question these days. This feels like an opener to a picture package... believe it or not.

  2. Thats hilarious, "discover the solution to lifes problems" and he is pushing it away. I just realized that it said this hmm.. now it becomes way more contemplative. The girl does seem like she is in her own world, maybe ignoring life's problems.

  3. yeah, but i think the fine print on that sticker is "contact a scientology volunteer..." so, he's maybe pushing away that whole thing...

john you've got a great sense of humor, man! i love that you're able to catch these odd, sort of ambiguous things on film.

    more!

  4. That is a cool image. Gesture everywhere!!! Love the casual pre teen girl on the blackberry. Man that body language stuff starts early. I can’t figure out with any kind of certainty any of the relationships here. I love that! Winogrand would be proud. And as noted earlier the bumper sticker adds to the mix. There is something in every part of the photo but nothing is crowded. Amazing, but that’s what you do. You have a way about your work. You see so much and you see the details and relationships before and as they appear. BRAVO !! more , more!
Good luck, and as you know, luck favors the prepared mind.
